Holly Ramsay's Wedding Drama: Feud, Police & Louis Vuitton Bag
Holly Ramsay's wedding feud with Adam Peaty's family

The strain of a very public and astonishing family feud was etched on Holly Ramsay's face this week as the 25-year-old influencer was spotted leaving her parents' London home.

A Glum Outing Amidst the Turmoil

On Thursday, Holly Ramsay, daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, was seen looking downcast outside the south-west London property of her parents, Gordon and Tana. Despite the apparent emotional toll, she held onto symbols of her privileged life and upcoming nuptials: a £2,880 Louis Vuitton holdall and a mobile phone case boldly labelled 'bride'. This sighting comes as a bitter dispute between the Ramsay and Peaty families threatens to overshadow her forthcoming wedding to Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty.

Escalating Tensions and Police Involvement

The row has escalated dramatically in recent days. It first emerged that Adam's mother, Caroline Peaty, had been banned from the wedding, allegedly after a disagreement over a dress she intended to wear. This led to her exclusion from Holly's hen-do at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire.

The situation took a more serious turn when Adam Peaty, 30, was met by five armed police officers upon his return to the UK from his stag party in Budapest. Reports indicate that while abroad, the athlete received a barrage of what were described as 'increasingly threatening' texts, causing him to fear he would be physically assaulted upon landing. He alerted his fiancée, and the police were contacted. A source close to the Ramsays conceded that police were confident no one had actually turned up at the airport to carry out the threat. It is understood the messages are believed to be from a family member, and while police deemed Adam was not in immediate danger, they are taking action.

Family Fallout and Lavish Wedding Plans

The public airing of grievances continued as Adam's aunt, Louise Williams – Caroline's sister – criticised the couple on social media. She questioned why they received armed police protection for 'comments made in the heat of the moment' when many genuine victims of domestic violence do not.

Meanwhile, the couple's wedding is set to be a lavish affair, scheduled for Bath Abbey before Christmas. Famous guests, including Victoria Beckham, are then expected to head to the opulent Kin House estate near Chippenham. In a stark contrast, friends of the Peaty family have revealed they are on Universal Credit and cannot afford to attend such an expensive event. Adam's sister, Bethany, is reportedly the only member of his family set to attend.

Caroline Peaty added to the drama with a cryptic social media post, writing: 'The ones I love are the people who hurt me the most. When you love someone, you protect them from the pain, you don't become the cause of it.'
