Gordon Ramsay's Netflix Show to Feature Daughter Holly's Wedding to Adam Peaty
Holly Ramsay & Adam Peaty Wedding on Netflix Docuseries

Viewers will get an intimate look at one of 2025's most talked-about celebrity weddings when Gordon Ramsay's new Netflix series launches next month. The show, Being Gordon Ramsay, will feature the December wedding of the chef's influencer daughter, Holly, to Olympic champion swimmer Adam Peaty.

Cameras Capture Lavish Nuptials and Underlying Tensions

The couple married at Bath Abbey on December 27, in a ceremony attended by high-profile guests including David and Victoria Beckham, as well as Peaty's fellow Olympians and Strictly Come Dancing friends. However, the day was marked by the notable absence of the groom's own parents, Caroline and Mark Peaty, amid a very public family feud.

Film crews for the anticipated docuseries had been following the Ramsay family for over a year and were present to capture the wedding. A source close to the production indicated that the family rift would likely be addressed in the show. "The cameras were there and part of the day was filmed. It'll be very obvious which family members aren't there," the insider told The Sun, adding, "I would imagine that the family feud will come up at some point – it would be weird to just ignore it."

A Feud Filmed for the World to See

The discord, which reportedly began when Caroline Peaty was excluded from Holly's hen-do, escalated to the point where Adam Peaty barred his mother from the wedding service. The build-up to the wedding, including an engagement party in December 2024 said to have sparked the initial dispute, will also feature in the Netflix series.

This has led to further controversy, with reports last month that Adam's estranged family demanded to be removed from the documentary. Caroline Peaty is said to have written to Netflix to state the family did not consent to being filmed at the engagement party. A spokesman for the Ramsay family countered that filming notices were displayed at the event and that the Peaty family would not feature in the final edit.

Following the wedding, Gordon Ramsay is reported to have made a pointed comment about his new son-in-law's parents in his speech, which left Caroline Peaty "outraged." In the aftermath, Caroline shared poignant messages on Instagram, reposting a note that read, "I deserve a year that doesn't hurt."

Peaty's Faith and Future in the Spotlight

Despite the turmoil, Adam Peaty appeared focused on his faith and new marriage in his first social media post since the wedding. On New Year's Eve, which also marked Holly's 26th birthday, the devout Christian posted, "It's the last day of 2025. Thank you Jesus for everything this year."

Peaty, who took Holly's surname, has been open about how his Christian faith helped him recover from a period of depression and alcoholism after the Tokyo Olympics. However, his family has criticised him, suggesting that shunning them from the wedding contradicts his religious beliefs.

Fans won't have to wait long for the full story, as Being Gordon Ramsay is set to stream on Netflix in February. Ahead of that, the wedding will be featured in a New Year's Day spread in British Vogue, offering a first glamorous look at Holly Ramsay's wedding dress.
