GMB's Adil Ray Brands Ruby Wax 'Controversial' Ahead of I'm A Celeb
GMB's Adil Ray brands Ruby Wax 'controversial' for jungle

Good Morning Britain presenter Adil Ray has delivered a brutally honest assessment of this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Ruby Wax, predicting she'll be "brilliant" at creating drama in the jungle.

GMB's Savage Verdict

During a segment discussing the new lineup, the GMB team didn't hold back their opinions on the 72-year-old actress and comedian. Former I'm A Celebrity campmate Melvin Odoom set the tone by describing Ruby as "controversial", noting that while most campmates were "quite cool", she was the exception.

"Ruby is the kind of person that doesn't hold back," Odoom revealed. Co-host Charlotte Hawkins immediately agreed, adding: "She's going to be fiery, I reckon."

Adil Ray, drawing from personal experience, was even more direct. "If she's not in the mood, she'll just say it, won't she? She won't play that game," he remarked. "I've met her a couple of times, and she just says stuff, she says stuff that's not often nice. She'll be brilliant."

Ruby's Pre-Jungle Complaints

Even before her jungle journey has officially begun, Ruby Wax is already living up to her fiery reputation. The When Ruby Met host has lodged her first complaint, taking issue with her pre-show accommodation.

"I am looking forward to getting into the Jungle because this hotel is trash," she declared. "I am complaining and changing rooms already."

When questioned about how she might cope with the inevitable hunger and exhaustion in the camp, Ruby issued a stark warning to the show's producers. "Oh, then I would get snarly, but not to anybody. I would just get snarly at the people who are producing this show and remind them that they are insured and I could sue them," she slammed.

Trump Stories and Jungle Predictions

Ruby Wax also vowed that her fellow campmates won't escape her unfiltered commentary, particularly when it comes to her stories about Donald Trump. She confidently stated that the former president "will not be listening to the show", so she feels free to speak her mind.

"Oh, they will come out of my mouth," she promised when asked if the Trump anecdotes would flow freely around the campfire.

Ruby joins a star-studded lineup including Emmerdale's Lisa Riley, Loose Women's Kelly Brook, Martin Kemp, Eddie Kadi, Alex Scott, Shona McGarty, and Jack Osbourne. I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! begins on Sunday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
