The dancer is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first child, a baby boy, with her partner Joe Sugg, whom she met during her time on the popular BBC show.
Embracing Pregnancy with Positivity and Activity
In the lead-up to the birth, Dianne has been focusing on maintaining her fitness through swimming, which she finds particularly soothing during this stage of her pregnancy. She shared an image of herself posing by a swimming pool, accompanied by the caption: "Swimming all I can at the moment, it’s the best my body feels whilst in the water!" Balancing Work and Preparation for Parenthood

The couple is starring in Raiders of the Lost Crafts on Sky HISTORY, a series that involves travelling across the UK to explore traditional crafts. She explained: "We're filming a TV show. Joe and Dianne star in Raiders of the Lost Crafts on Sky HISTORY. We’re travelling round the country exploring some of the UK’s most traditional crafts. We’re still currently filming so here are some little sneak peaks but we already cannot wait to share this with you all!"
Reflections on Body Changes and Future Plans
The couple announced their pregnancy in September 2025, and Dianne has been open about her initial concerns regarding the physical transformations that come with expecting a child. However, she has since embraced these changes with a positive outlook.
Dianne shared: "I really thought I would struggle with the fact my body is changing so much. But it’s the most beautiful thing creating life. I feel so lucky. Genuinely thought the body changing would really stress me out but it’s really magical."
Career and Family Harmony
Prior to the pregnancy announcement, Dianne had expressed no reservations about taking a break from her dancing career to start a family. Remarkably, she managed to compete throughout the entire Strictly series last year, demonstrating her dedication to both her professional and personal life.
In a conversation with Prima magazine last summer, she reflected on her relationship with Joe and their shared vision for the future: "When Joe and I met, it wasn’t until the show ended that we realised we missed each other’s company a lot – our relationship went from there. We always got on, he was so funny to me, and I loved how creative he was."
She added: "We’ve always wanted kids, it’s just finding the right time. I don’t feel worried about taking time out from dancing, I just don’t see the point in worrying. When everything aligns, it will happen. I have to have that vision. I like to practise manifestation, I’m quite spiritual."
Navigating Fame and Personal Life
Discussing their relationship in the public eye, Dianne noted that she and Joe sometimes forget about their celebrity status. She said: "Joe and I forget we’re famous sometimes – when we’re out and about, we’ll be like, 'Why are they looking at us? Ah, okay, I remember.' It doesn’t feel that difficult to have a relationship in the public eye – we’re good at not taking notice of things that are written about us."
