The actor, who plays troubled copper Kit Winter on the long-running series, confirmed his relationship with the show's PR manager, Caitlin Connolly, back in October 2024. The pair have been inseparable ever since, and this week they treated their followers to a glimpse of their luxurious trip abroad.
In the clip shared on their respective Instagram pages, the smitten couple can be seen enjoying the sunshine and exploring their holiday destination. They captioned the post, "The best end to the best year. HNY."

In the episode that aired on Friday, January 2, 2026, Kit located the flat where villain Becky Swain was holding Carla hostage, only to find it empty. However, he discovered a strand of hair, which was later confirmed by a lab to belong to Carla, keeping the suspense alive for viewers.
Jacob Roberts joined the Coronation Street cast in 2024 as Kit, the estranged son of Bernie Winter. His storyline has been packed with action, from discovering a secret son to surviving a near-fatal stabbing, alongside several turbulent romances on the show.
