Soap opera veterans Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom have formally reached a settlement in their divorce proceedings, bringing a legal close to their decade-long marriage. The former couple, who famously portrayed love interests on the long-running CBS daytime drama As The World Turns, submitted their signed agreement to the court for a judge's approval, according to reports from TMZ.
Amicable Financial Agreement
Court documents reveal that both McClain, aged 56, and Lindstrom, aged 68, have mutually agreed to waive any claims to spousal support from one another. This decision aligns with a growing trend among celebrity couples seeking cleaner financial separations. The settlement specifies that McClain will retain all assets held in her name, including furniture and personal property, while Lindstrom will keep his own separate assets and property.
Continuing Professional Partnership
Despite the end of their romantic relationship, the former spouses maintain a professional partnership. Both actors joined the cast of the new CBS soap opera Beyond The Gates last year, with Lindstrom playing casino owner Joey Armstrong and McClain cast as Pamela Curtis. The pair originally met while working together on As The World Turns, where they played the characters Rosanna Cabot and Craig Montgomery until the show's final episode in 2010. They married on Valentine's Day in 2014 and announced their separation in December 2023.

Lindstrom is widely recognized for his dual role as Ryan Chamberlain and Kevin Collins on General Hospital. Prior to his relationship with McClain, he was married to fellow soap actress Eileen Davidson from 1997 to 2003. Davidson is best known for her work on Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless.
