Ashley Roberts Showcases Bikini DJ Style on Instagram
Ashley Roberts, the 44-year-old former Pussycat Doll, sent pulses racing on Thursday as she shared her current DJing summer ensembles on Instagram. The star stunned in a skimpy black bikini paired with a sheer dress, posing up a storm in beachwear that glistened brilliantly under the sun. She kept her sparkly look effortlessly casual, going barefoot and accessorising with sleek black-tinted sunglasses to complete the ensemble.
Glamorous Outfits and Fan Interaction
In another eye-catching outfit, Ashley slipped into a sparkly brown, one-shoulder swimsuit that featured a daring cut-out panel around the waist. She completed this second look with a matching skirt and a pair of trendy orange sunglasses, adding a vibrant touch to her style. Alongside her post, she penned a playful caption: 'I think I’ve nailed my DJ style huns... just need my official DJ name, any suggestions?' This prompted an enthusiastic response from her followers, who flooded the comments with compliments and suggestions.
Connection to I'm A Celebrity South Africa
Her glamorous social media outing comes after she stripped down to a skimpy blue bikini for her first shower in the I'm A Celebrity South Africa camp, in scenes that were pre-recorded in September. Ashley is one of the famous faces who have re-entered the jungle for the second All Stars series of the show. During Thursday's installment, viewers watched as she showed off her slim physique in the bikini, later remarking: 'I had my first shower today. It did feel like I needed a shower, we've gone a few days now. It did feel nice to wash the bits, if you know what I'm saying.'
Maldives Getaway and Fan Praise
As the show continues to air, Ashley has been enjoying a break away in the Maldives ahead of reuniting with the Pussycat Dolls. In a new post on social media, she posed up a storm in a brown bikini as she soaked up the sun at the holiday hotspot. Another snap featured her sizzling in a barely-there orange two-piece before going snorkeling. Ashley captioned the post: 'When the only thing on the to do list is choosing which bikini to wear and working on my tan.' Fans quickly flooded her with compliments, writing messages such as: 'Always such a pretty pedicure, Ashley!' and 'Absolutely stunning.'
Honest Conversation About Motherhood
Earlier this week, fans praised Ashley for a 'refreshing' conversation in the I'm A Celebrity camp, where she openly admitted that having children 'isn't top of the list' for her. She was quizzed by fellow campmate Sinitta, 62, who asked if being a mum was on the cards for the future. This discussion sparked Scarlett Moffatt, 35, to talk about the fertility struggles she suffered while trying to conceive her son Jude, two.
Ashley explained to the camp why having a child wasn't a priority for her right now, stating: 'It's not the top of the list. I don't know, I think I've just been so driven and I like travelling and I don't feel a strong passion to be a mum.' Sinitta, who has two adopted children, responded supportively: 'I always say to people unless you really, really want to because it takes everything, doesn't it.' Scarlett added: 'It is your life and too many people become parents who actually shouldn't be parents because they actually they don't really want it.'
Viewer Reactions and Social Media Response
The former Gogglebox star later said in the Bush Telegraph: 'For me, being a mum has changed my whole life and it's something that I've wanted for so, so long. For other women it isn't and I think, good for Ashley, same as good for me who wanted a child. We all just have to live our best lives however that looks.' Viewers took to X to express their appreciation for the open and honest chat in camp. They wrote comments such as: 'Absolutely, some people make a choice not to have children. That's fine too.' and 'Let's not shame Ashley for not having kids on top of her list. I say fair play to her.' Others noted broader societal issues, with one user stating: 'People can't afford to have kids these days.' and another adding: 'I feel like as a society we put too much pressure on women to have kids.'
