Apple Martin Denies Bullying Allegations and Shares Bikini Photo

Apple Martin, the 21-year-old daughter of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has publicly addressed claims labeling her a 'mean girl' and allegations of school expulsion for bullying. In a recent Instagram Story, she dismissed these rumours as "completely untrue" while also posting a bikini snap showcasing her figure by the pool.

Breaking Her Silence on Controversial Claims

Last week, Apple Martin took to her Instagram Stories to respond to reports that she had been expelled from school due to bullying behaviour. She re-shared a comment she wrote, stating she wanted to share "just a quick little message from myself." In her message, she explained, "Hi! I didn't wanna respond but this narrative is completely false and has gotten so out of hand. I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone."

She acknowledged that not everyone may like her, saying, "I completely understand ppl not liking me and that is okay! The internet is a place where ppl can share their opinions. But this rumor is completely untrue, I am not that type of person and anyone who is close to me knows that ❤️."

Poolside Bikini Snap Amidst Drama

Brushing off the ongoing drama, Apple shared a bikini photo on her Instagram Story on Monday evening. She displayed her figure as she lounged by the pool in a skimpy brown dogtooth triangle two-piece. For her afternoon of sunbathing, she swept her blonde hair into a claw clip and sported a pair of sunglasses while posing for the snap.

Background of the Bullying Accusations

The allegations stem from an incident in 2024, when a video surfaced showing Apple seemingly attempting to crash a fellow debutante's photo shoot and rolling her eyes at her date during the Le Bal des Debutantes in Paris. This led to widespread speculation and media reports about her behaviour.

However, a source close to Gwyneth Paltrow told DailyMail.com that Apple is a "girls' girl" and not a "mean girl." The source said, "Apple's more playful and fun and she's really a total girls' girl. She would never mean to take the spotlight from anyone, that was not her intention. To characterize her as a mean girl is very untrue."

The source added that Apple had a "good rapport" with her date, Count Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, and that their interactions were in "total jest" and not negative. They emphasised, "She really had such a wonderful evening and I feel bad that this is even taking away from that because it was such an uplifting evening for her and the other girls."

Personal Life and Future Plans

Apple Martin is set to graduate from Vanderbilt University in May with a degree in law, history, and society. Speaking about her prior plans to attend law school, she explained, "I was in that rebellious 'I don't wanna be like my parents' type of phase." She also clarified that she will not pursue a career in music like her father, stating, "I don't wanna be a singer. I like musical theater, but getting onstage by yourself to sing is so terrifying. I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act."

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin split in 2014, and they also share a son, Moses, 19. Despite the recent controversies, Apple continues to navigate her public life while focusing on her education and aspirations in the entertainment industry.
