A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Pembrokeshire that closed a road for nearly 12 hours. Emergency services were called to the B4313 near Redstone, Narberth at around 3:10pm on Thursday, July 16, after a collision between a grey Nissan Qashqai and a blue Suzuki GSXR motorcycle.
Victim identified and family supported
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed on Friday that the motorcycle rider, a 51-year-old man, died at the scene. His family is being supported by specially trained officers. No other injuries were reported.
Road closure and investigation
The road was closed for accident investigation work and reopened at 3am on Friday, July 17. Police are appealing for anyone who was traveling in the area at the time, or who has dash-cam, CCTV, or ring doorbell footage, to come forward.
A police statement said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision on the B4313 near Redstone, Narberth at around 3.10pm on Thursday, July 16. The collision involved a grey Nissan Qashqai and a blue Suzuki GSXR motorcycle. Sadly, the motorcycle rider, a 51-year-old man, died at the scene. His family is being supported by specially trained officers. No other injuries were reported. The road was closed while investigating officers carried out their enquiries and reopened at around 3am this morning (July 17).
