Bellingham mocked by Fernandez brother after Argentina win

Enzo Fernandez's brother Seba mocked Jude Bellingham on social media following Argentina's World Cup semi-final victory over England. Fernandez scored the equalizer in the match, which Argentina won on penalties. The Chelsea midfielder is reportedly keen on a move to Real Madrid, where he would join Bellingham, but the club has denied any interest.

Social Media Taunt

Seba Fernandez posted a picture on his Instagram story showing his brother celebrating while Bellingham lay on the turf. The caption read: "Hahaha Bye, Bellingham." The post drew backlash from some of his 26,000 followers, with one commenting: "Bellingham much better than Enzo and you say bye bye." Another wrote: "Bellingham, you're light-years and years better than Enzo, and you're saying goodbye? You're really ridiculous." A third added: "Brother laughing at Bellingham on his stories, who plays at the club where Enzo is dragging to be. You don't have greatness or class to play in Madrid."

Transfer Speculation

Fernandez, 25, is believed to want a move to Real Madrid. However, the Spanish club released a statement earlier this month denying any efforts to sign him. "Real Madrid CF has not made any efforts, either directly or indirectly, aimed at signing Enzo Fernandez and has no intention of pursuing such an operation," the statement read. Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso confirmed he has spoken with Fernandez and wants him to stay. "Yes, we have spoken. But as you can understand, what we have spoken about remains private. But yes, we have spoken," Alonso said. When asked if he wanted Fernandez to stay, he replied: "Yes."
