Two-Year Manhunt

The post added: "The arrest follows a range of tactics employed by the team to locate the man, who had been wanted for two years. The suspect believed he could target the vulnerable victim throughout this time. Despite him using fake names and other ploys to throw the team off, these proved useless in the end."

Police said the man used fake names to evade capture, but the team's persistent efforts led to his apprehension. The victim, described as vulnerable, was allegedly targeted by the suspect over the two-year period.

Knives Found and Custody

Upon his arrest, which occurred outside Greater Manchester, officers found several knives. The man was uncompliant, and the team quickly escorted him to a waiting van. He remains in custody for questioning.

No further details have been released, and the man's age has not been disclosed. GMP continues to investigate the case.
