A police officer from Avon and Somerset has been dismissed following a gross misconduct hearing, after engaging in inappropriate conduct with a vulnerable woman.
The officer, whose identity has not been disclosed, was found to have breached professional standards during interactions with the woman, referred to as Sophie for anonymity. The hearing concluded that his actions amounted to gross misconduct, leading to immediate dismissal.
