A Turbulent Love Island Journey

Zara's time in the Love Island villa was notoriously turbulent. After a steamy night of passion with Alex Bowen, she was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title due to what organisers called 'disappointing' behaviour. Days later, she learned her mother had fallen ill and left the show to be at her side.

A Fairytale Wedding

Zara and Elliott married in an idyllic three-day Greek wedding in 2023 after seven years of dating. They described it as the happiest day of their lives. In an exclusive interview at the time, Zara said: 'It was the best day of our lives… it was perfect. I can't put it into words.'

She elaborated: 'It was a three-day wedding. The first day we did a welcome dinner at a family-run Greek restaurant called Louizidis Tavern, with a proper traditional Greek night and a Greek band, sharing-style food. The second day was the wedding, and the third day we had a white-themed pool party. We flew out of Heathrow with about 14 suitcases – it looked like we were immigrating!'

Zara revealed she was 15 minutes late to her own wedding, but that didn't diminish her grand entrance. She walked down the aisle on her proud father's arm to the music of a harp and violin. She said: 'It was such a special moment having my dad walk me down the aisle. I wanted to keep it as traditional as possible, even the night before we spent separately.'
