A mother has faced a court accused of murdering her four-year-old daughter in a devastating house fire in Manchester.

Carrin Wibier, 45, of Gateshead Close, Rusholme, appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court via video link from custody. The defendant is charged with murder and arson with intent to endanger life. During a brief hearing, she confirmed her name, date of birth, and address to District Judge Jane Hamilton.
