An investigation has been initiated following an incident in which two men allegedly stole a phone from a passenger on the London Underground and subsequently assaulted two police officers. British Transport Police have released CCTV images of two individuals they wish to speak with in connection with the event.

Details of the Incident

The alleged robbery occurred after the victim alighted a Central Line train at Oxford Circus Underground station at approximately 3:15 pm on Sunday, March 8. According to the force, two men attempted to take the victim's mobile phone. When two officers intervened, they were assaulted as the suspects fled the scene.

Appeal for Information

Detectives believe the individuals captured in the CCTV images may have crucial information that could assist their inquiry. They are urging anyone who recognises them to come forward.
