According to Ubach, the driver misled her into believing that package delivery was a service offered by Lyft. However, the driver allegedly never arrived at the designated drop-off location. The intended recipient reportedly waited outside for 45 minutes without success.
Ubach further claimed that when the driver arrived at the address she provided, he turned off his phone, preventing any contact or tracking of the package's whereabouts.

"We understand how distressing this situation is for the rider involved, and we take reports like this seriously," the spokesperson said. "Lyft is in contact with the rider and we have permanently removed the driver from the platform."
