Police in Glasgow have launched a major manhunt for a suspected rapist following a serious sexual assault in a public park in the early hours of Christmas Eve.

An eyewitness described the scene to local media, noting a substantial police presence. 'A huge area has been taped off and there is a large police presence in the Orchard area,' they said. 'There are multiple police vans at the entrance of the park.'
