A devastating house fire in Ashford has resulted in the death of one child and left another requiring hospital treatment, in a tragic incident that has shocked the local community.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a serious fire at a semi-detached property on White Admiral Way in Hamstreet, Ashford. Control operators immediately dispatched a significant emergency response, sending six fire engines and a height vehicle to the scene.
