Set in the 1970s, American Hostage tells the harrowing true story of Fred Heckman, a beloved Indianapolis radio reporter who was taken hostage by Tony Kiritsis. Kiritsis demanded to be interviewed on Heckman's popular radio show, sparking a tense standoff. The series is described as a high-stakes psychological thriller that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.
Cast and Crew
Jon Hamm, known for his roles in Mad Men and Landman, portrays Fred Heckman. Giovanni Ribisi, renowned for performances in Saving Private Ryan, Friends, Avatar, and Sneaky Pete, plays his captor, Tony Kiritsis. The cast also includes Mireille Enos (The Killing), William Jackson Harper (The Good Place), and Jonathan Tucker (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre).
