Set in the 1970s, American Hostage tells the harrowing true story of Fred Heckman, a beloved Indianapolis radio reporter who was taken hostage by Tony Kiritsis. Kiritsis demanded to be interviewed on Heckman's popular radio show, sparking a tense standoff. Jon Hamm, known for his roles in Mad Men and Landman, portrays Fred Heckman.
