Brent School Knife Attack Suspect, 13, Allegedly Filmed Himself Stabbing Children

A 13-year-old boy has been accused of stabbing two children in the neck and spraying another with insect repellent during a violent incident at a school in Brent, north-west London. The shocking details emerged during a Crown Court hearing where prosecutors outlined the alleged attack at Kingsbury High School on February 10.

Court Hears Chilling Details of Classroom and Playground Assault

Prosecutor Ben Lloyd told the court that the defendant, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, had allegedly armed himself with both a kitchen knife and an aerosol can of insect spray before the attack. According to the prosecution, the teenager positioned his mobile phone in his blazer pocket to record the events as they unfolded.

The court heard that the sequence of events began when the suspect knocked on a classroom door and hid beside the wall. When a child opened the door, the defendant allegedly sprayed him directly in the face with the insect repellent. Once inside the classroom, he then allegedly stabbed another child in the neck.

Both of these initial incidents reportedly occurred in the presence of a teacher and numerous other children who witnessed the terrifying attack. The prosecutor stated that the defendant then left the classroom and moments later attacked a second child in the playground, stabbing him in the neck as well.

Defendant's Behavior During Court Proceedings

During his first appearance before Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb at the Crown Court hearing on Friday, the 13-year-old suspect reportedly bit his nails and spoke only to confirm his name. The child remains unidentified due to legal restrictions surrounding juvenile defendants in such cases.

The prosecution's summary painted a disturbing picture of premeditation, with the defendant allegedly planning to document his violent actions. The case highlights ongoing concerns about knife crime in educational settings and the accessibility of weapons to young people.

Location and Response to the Incident

Kingsbury High School in Brent, north-west London, was the scene of the alleged attack that has shocked the local community. Police vehicles and security personnel were deployed to the school following the incident, which occurred on February 10.

The case continues to develop as legal proceedings move forward, with the young defendant facing serious charges related to the violent school attack. The incident has raised questions about school security measures and interventions for at-risk youth in the Brent area.
