Krispy Kreme has agreed to a $1.6 million settlement in a class-action lawsuit concerning a potential data breach. The lawsuit alleges that a security breach on November 29, 2024, may have exposed customers' personal information, including names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers and financial details.
Eligible Compensation
Eligible customers can receive up to $3,500 by providing documentation of losses related to fraud or identity theft, or a $75 cash payment without documentation. All class members are also entitled to one year of free credit monitoring services to help track suspicious activity.
Deadline Approaching
The deadline for eligible customers to file a claim for the settlement is June 22. Those affected are urged to submit their claims promptly to ensure they receive compensation.
