Hammonton police were alerted to the aviation crash at approximately 11.25am, according to a statement from the town’s deputy municipal clerk, Denise Mazzeo. Police and fire crews rushed to the scene where one of the helicopters was fully engulfed in flames. They successfully extinguished the fire.
