Competition Details and Judging

Entries should be approximately 100 words, and while participants may submit relevant photos, the judging will focus solely on the written content. The winning entry and other standout tips will be featured in the Guardian Travel section and on their website.
Important eligibility requirements state that entrants must be UK residents aged 18 or over. The competition closes on Monday 1st December at 10am GMT. Coolstays, the prize provider, offers more than 3,000 properties worldwide, giving the winner plenty of choice for their future getaway.
Participants can submit their tips anonymously if preferred, and all responses are securely encrypted with only the Guardian having access to the contributions. The publication has assured that personal data will be deleted when no longer required for the competition feature.
