Explora Journeys, the luxury cruise line owned by MSC Cruises, has revealed two ultra-luxurious Owner's Residences on its upcoming ship, Explora III. Prices for a week-long cruise start at approximately £21,000 and can reach up to £85,000, depending on the itinerary.
The Owner's Residences, designed by architect Patricia Urquiola, are the largest suites aboard Explora III, offering 280 square metres of space, including a 125-square-metre terrace spanning the ship's full width. Features include a whirlpool, alfresco dining area, expansive dressing room, bespoke king-sized bed, and a marble bathroom with a double vanity, bathtub, rain shower, and steam room.
Urquiola's design combines Mediterranean and contemporary styles, using materials such as Cipollino and Travertino marble, bronze metals, and ribbed woods. Guests also have access to a dedicated butler or residence manager, who can assist with packing, unpacking, and other requests.
Explora III's maiden seven-night voyage is scheduled for 3 August 2026, sailing from Barcelona to Lisbon, with prices starting at £4,770 per person. The ship will also feature a connecting Ocean Terrace Suite for additional guests.
