Spurs' Transfer Activity So Far
Tottenham have already completed the signing of centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton in a £52 million deal. However, their pursuit of Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali hit a snag after an £80 million bid was rejected, with Newcastle valuing the Italy international at £100 million. Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in Tonali.

United are keen to resolve his future quickly to remove his substantial £315,000-a-week wages from their books, allowing them to reinforce their own squad.
However, Tottenham are reportedly unwilling to meet the £40 million asking price and plan to open negotiations with a lower bid. Additionally, Rashford's preference remains a permanent move to Barcelona, and he is reluctant to return to the Premier League.
