Scottish holiday park all-inclusive breaks praised by families

Parkdean Resorts' all-inclusive dining package, available at 45 UK sites including Scottish parks, starts from £100 per adult and £40 per child for a four-night break, working out at £25 per adult per night and £10 per child. Guests have praised the deal, with one holidaymaker calling it "great value" and another saying the food was "very tasty" and "definitely worth the money."

What the all-inclusive package includes

The package combines meals and drinks with a caravan or lodge stay, covering three restaurant-style, table-service meals a day with dedicated children's menus rather than a buffet. Soft drinks, squash, hot beverages, and unlimited Costa Coffee are included, though some sides, upgraded dishes, alcohol, bottled drinks, and mocktails cost extra.

The deal is available on selected breaks, including four-night stays arriving on Mondays outside school holidays and selected three-night weekend options at some parks. Prices and availability vary by park and date, so holidaymakers should check the total cost before booking.

Scottish parks featured

Scottish locations offering the all-inclusive option include Grannie's Heilan' Hame in Sutherland near Dornoch, Southerness in Dumfries and Galloway, Sandylands near Saltcoats in Ayrshire, Sundrum Castle near Ayr, Wemyss Bay in Inverclyde, and Tummel Valley in Perthshire. These parks offer facilities such as indoor swimming pools, adventure playgrounds, and family entertainment, with nearby attractions including Dunrobin Castle, Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve, and the Isle of Bute.

Parkdean Resorts has previously highlighted potential savings of more than £300 for a family of four when combining the package with accommodation.

Guest reviews and considerations

One guest who stayed at Grannie's Heilan' Hame wrote: "We decided to use the new All Inclusive offer at £100 per adult, which we found was great value and meant all our meals were taken care of. The Livingston restaurant was always available and the food was better than I expected from our previous visits to caravan site restaurants." Another, after a five-night stay, said: "We booked the all inclusive package and it was so amazing. Highly recommend doing this. The food options on this were great. The food its self was very tasty cooked perfectly."

A visitor at Wemyss Bay Holiday Park wrote: "The food was brilliant and definitely recommend going all inclusive," while a Southerness guest described the package as "such great value for money," adding: "Service is great from staff. Will definitely be back and do the all inclusive again. The staff on site are very attentive." One guest raised a note of caution, writing: "Was all inclusive, but it is only main meal to value of £20 starters and puddings are extra." Another praised their Monday-to-Friday stay, writing: "Lovely camp, very nice caravan, we stayed Monday to Friday and done the all inclusive, it was worth the money although no alcohol on it, but it was still worth it. The staff were brilliant. Really enjoyed our time."
