Sam Fender confirms St James' Park gig date for 2027

Sam Fender has confirmed he will play St James' Park in Newcastle on Saturday, June 5, 2027, as part of his Proper Massive tour. The date was revealed through a Facebook event page co-hosted with the stadium's account, which also confirmed that tickets will go on general sale next Friday, October 30.

Return to St James' Park

The announcement follows Monday night's news of Fender's 2027 tour, which was teased with a Lord of the Rings-inspired video. The singer and his band have previously headlined St James' Park in 2023 and 2025, selling out the stadium twice on the first occasion and three nights last year.

Fans in Newcastle responded quickly to the event page, with thousands clicking "Going" within minutes of it going live.

Other Tour Dates

In addition to St James' Park, Fender and the band are set to perform at the Etihad in Manchester, Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Murrayfield in Edinburgh, Wembley Stadium and Marlay Park in Dublin.

While only one night has been confirmed for St James' Park, the event page notes that more dates could be added, as the show is expected to sell out.
