Premier Inn's Festive Pyjamas Sell Fast: Limited Run for GOSH Charity
Premier Inn launches limited-edition Christmas pyjamas

Hotel giant Premier Inn has just launched an exclusive range of Christmas-themed pyjamas, with a crucial catch for eager shoppers: the collection is strictly limited and expected to sell out rapidly.

A Cosy Collection for a Crucial Cause

Drawing inspiration from all things sleep-related, the new line features the brand's signature moon and stars logo. The designs also incorporate playful patterns of sheep, slippers, pillows, and alarm clocks, all rendered in Premier Inn's distinctive purple hue.

All profits from the sale of these pyjamas will be donated to the hotel's charity partner, the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). This organisation is dedicated to giving seriously ill children the best possible chance in life and a fulfilling childhood.

Brits' Love Affair with Loungewear Revealed

The launch coincides with new research commissioned by the chain, which surveyed 2,000 adults across the UK. The findings paint a picture of a nation deeply fond of its nightwear.

The study revealed that a third of pyjama wearers enjoy up to five full 'pyjama days' every month, where they never get dressed. Half of respondents confessed they practically 'live' in their nightwear during the winter, with 16% declaring them their absolute 'favourite outfit'.

One in five (20%) admitted to changing into pyjamas the moment they walk through their front door. The trend towards early comfort is strong, with 47% slipping into them before 7:30pm and a dedicated 20% doing so by 6pm at the latest during the colder months.

The Science of Sleep and Style

The survey also delved into the perceived benefits of nightwear. It found that 44% of adults believe they sleep better when wearing pyjamas. A quarter (24%) of enthusiasts stated they 'don't understand' how anyone can go to bed without them.

While a third (33%) see their pyjamas as purely functional sleepwear, over a quarter (26%) consider them an essential part of their overall wardrobe. According to the data from OnePoll, the average person owns four pairs, though 26% buy new ones less than once a year.

A spokesperson for Premier Inn commented on the findings and the new range: "It's official, you heard it here first – the UK is a nation of pyjama lovers. Of course, the primary purpose of pyjamas is to ensure a perfect night's slumber, which perfectly aligns with our way of thinking."

They added, "There's never a bad time to upgrade your sleep game, and getting into bed in new pyjamas is one of life's great pleasures. Guests tell us time and time again that they love our beds, and our goal is to offer a great night's sleep. We thought it was a match made in heaven to offer a range of cosy cotton PJs so guests can sink into their beds in even more comfort."

The spokesperson issued a clear warning to potential buyers: "But they are only going to be available for a limited time, so if you are a superfan and want a pair, you'll have to move quickly."

The exclusive Premier Inn pyjama collection is available to purchase online now.
