Location and Nearby Attractions

The site is within walking distance of Ashbourne market town and provides easy access to Bakewell, Matlock, and Buxton. Walking routes start directly from the park, and there is direct access to the Tissington Trail cycle route. Visitors can explore gardens, ride cable cars at The Heights of Abraham, or reach Alton Towers in about 20 minutes by car.

Reception manager Dan Lee noted, "We're a very popular site for families, especially during the summer holidays, and a lot of our guests come from Manchester. It's an easy drive away, so people can leave the city behind and be in the heart of the Peak District before they know it."

One five-star reviewer commented, "I've been here with my young boys a few times and they love it. It's clean, staff are friendly, and there's a pool, games room, and a pub on site." Another guest praised the "fantastic two night break" and noted that the kids enjoyed the swimming pool, games room, and park.
