Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has revealed she wants a second baby after meeting her dance partner Will Best's newborn son, just hours before the next live show of the 2026 series.

Dianne is paired with Big Brother presenter Will Best, who welcomed son Sonny with his partner Tobi Rose earlier this month. On Saturday, October 24, they are scheduled to dance a Cha Cha to 'Daddy' by Della Reese.

Baby news shared on social media

Will announced Sonny's arrival on Instagram at the time, writing: "Well who do we have here then?! Welcome to the world Sonny Best, you little smasher." He added: "@tobiroseofficial you're a miracle and I love you so much. A couple of tired new parents (see last slide) but oh my goodness aren't we lucky xxx"

Seven months after having son Bowie with her YouTuber boyfriend Joe Sugg, Dianne admitted that meeting baby Sonny made her want a second child. Posting on her TikTok account, Dianne said while sat next to Will: "He's so gorgeous. I have to say, as soon as I saw him, I went home and said to Joe, I want another one."

Fans react and recent history

Dianne's followers were quick to comment, with one excited fan writing: "I don't even have a baby, but every one I meet I'm like I need one." Another said: "Love, love, love," while a third wrote: "Best couple on Strictly."

Dianne appeared in the 2025 series with Neighbours star Stefan Dennis while pregnant, but the pair were forced to drop out due to Stefan suffering an injury. She welcomed baby Bowie in February this year.

The dancer recently opened up about her birth experience, revealing she was left in tears after trying to sit up was agonising. She said on the Oxydise podcast: "I just burst into tears. The pain of having to sit up and trying to manoeuvre myself out of bed was just unbearable."
