Mum Flees Butlin's After Just One Night Due to 'Disgusting' Conditions
Mum quits Butlin's over 'disgusting' conditions

A mother has revealed her family's disastrous holiday at Butlin's, where they were forced to leave after just one night due to what she described as "disgusting" conditions.

The unnamed mum, who had booked a break at the Bognor Regis resort in West Sussex, said she was horrified by the state of their accommodation. She claimed the room was dirty, with stained carpets and broken furniture, making it impossible for her young children to stay.

Filthy Conditions and Broken Promises

"It was absolutely vile," she said. "The carpets were sticky, the beds looked unclean, and the bathroom was in a terrible state. I couldn’t let my kids sleep there."

Despite paying hundreds of pounds for the trip, the family decided to abandon their holiday early, leaving the resort in frustration. The mother added that staff were unhelpful when she raised concerns, offering only a partial refund.

Butlin's Responds

A Butlin's spokesperson said: "We take all guest feedback seriously and are investigating this complaint. We strive to provide a great experience for all our guests and apologise for any disappointment caused."

This isn’t the first time Butlin's has faced criticism over cleanliness and service. Other holidaymakers have previously complained about similar issues at various UK resorts.
