The fish and chip themed train rides at Tanfield Railway in County Durham have confirmed their final three dates for 2026, following high demand for tickets. The remaining trips will depart Andrew's House station on September 6, September 27, and October 11.

Guests are invited to step back in time with a nostalgic journey on the world's oldest railway, which dates back over 300 years. The relaxed one-hour round trip takes passengers through the scenic North East countryside in heritage carriages from the 1800s, hauled by a steam locomotive.
Everyone on board receives their fish and chips at the halfway point of the trip, ready to enjoy on the return journey, alongside a refreshing drink and a tasty flapjack or biscuit.
