Families with children and adults seeking a nostalgic escape are in for a treat as the world's first Hey Duggee-themed hotel rooms are set to debut in the United Kingdom. The Alton Towers resort will host these innovative accommodations at its CBeebies Land Hotel, bringing beloved characters from the BBC animated series to life in a unique overnight experience.
Immersive Themed Accommodations for All Ages
From this month onwards, guests can join Duggee and the Squirrels for a stay filled with gentle fun, play, and adventure. The hotel offers one standard room and one suite, both designed to cater to different family needs, with bookings available from Saturday, March 14. Inside, children will discover characters hidden in corners, creating the sensation of stepping directly into Duggee's Clubhouse.
Room Features and Capacities
The standard room can sleep up to five people and includes a separate children's sleeping area themed around Hey Duggee and the Squirrels. It features TVs in both the adults' and children's sections, ensuring entertainment for all. Meanwhile, the suite accommodates seven guests and is divided into two main areas, complete with toddler and baby-friendly facilities for added convenience.
Each room boasts a double bed with a bespoke designed headboard, themed TV and furniture, and a dedicated children’s area equipped with bunk beds. The decor showcases faces from the popular children's TV show, including Betty, Happy, Norrie, Tag, and Roly, enhancing the immersive atmosphere. Additionally, a sensory game inspired by the series adds an interactive element to the stay.
Expanding Hey Duggee Experiences at the Park
These themed rooms complement the existing range of Hey Duggee-themed activities at Alton Towers. In CBeebies Land, visitors can climb, slide, and bounce through interactive sensory play areas, and enjoy events such as Hey Duggee Live. The Alton Towers website describes the live show: 'At Hey Duggee Live, help your favourite characters Duggee, Roly, Betty, and Happy to find out who the mystery DJ in Big Fun Showtime is. Use your map-reading skills to piece together clues—you could even earn your Map Badge!'
Executive Insights and Future Plans
Howard Ebison, vice president of Alton Towers Resort, expressed enthusiasm: 'What better way for fans to relax and continue the adventures after a fun-filled day at CBeebies Land than with a stay in our world-first Hey Duggee-themed rooms. We have an exciting year ahead in 2026 at Alton Towers Resort for families, and this themed addition to CBeebies Land Hotel is the latest example of our commitment to unforgettable memories and immersive experiences for families.'

Broader Themed Offerings at Alton Towers
The park features numerous other themed rides and rooms, including attractions based on Bluey, Bing, In the Night Garden, Octonauts, and Something Special. In a related development, Alton Towers is also set to open the world's first rollercoaster themed around Australia's famous cartoon dog, Bluey, on March 28. Howard Ebison noted that the ride will be 'all about celebrating energy, play, and those everyday moments families love about the show.'
This expansion underscores Alton Towers' dedication to providing diverse and engaging family entertainment options, blending nostalgia with modern immersive experiences.
