An elderly couple's much-anticipated Viking river cruise turned into a holiday horror story after their cabin was overrun by gnats. John and Rosemary Kaasa, both in their 70s, had saved up for what they hoped would be a luxurious getaway, but instead found themselves battling an insect invasion.
A Dream Holiday Gone Wrong
The Kaasas boarded the Viking longship expecting a serene journey through Europe's picturesque waterways. However, their dream quickly soured when they discovered their cabin was infested with gnats. "It was unbearable," Rosemary recounted. "We couldn't sleep or relax without these pests buzzing around us."
