Armenia has announced a significant relaxation of its entry regulations, abolishing visa requirements for the first half of 2026. This move aims to simplify travel and attract more visitors to explore its cultural and natural attractions.
Visa Exemption Details
Until 1 July 2026, nationals from 113 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union, and the United Arab Emirates, can enter Armenia without obtaining a visa. Travellers are permitted to stay for as long as 180 days within a one-year period, facilitating extended visits and spontaneous trips.

The decision is part of a broader strategy to enhance tourism and encourage diverse travel experiences, such as short city breaks, family visits, business trips, and longer adventures. Lusine Gevorgyan, chairman of the tourism committee of Armenia, stated: "This decision is a clear invitation to travellers around the world.
