The UGREEN MagFlow Air is a 10,000mAh power bank with a built-in USB-C cable and Qi2 wireless charging, designed to charge multiple devices simultaneously. It retails for £64.99 but is currently on sale for £44.99 on Amazon.
Design and Features
Measuring 13.9mm thick, the MagFlow Air is slimmer than many power banks of similar capacity. It includes a braided USB-C cable for charging at up to 30W speeds, which can also be used to recharge the bank itself. An additional USB-C port allows for charging up to three devices at once, though power is distributed when multiple devices are connected.
The power bank supports Qi2 wireless charging at up to 15W and has MagSafe magnets for alignment with iPhones and Google Pixel 10. It automatically starts charging when a device is connected, and a side button can turn it off or display the current power level via four white lights.
Charging Performance
In testing, wireless charging was slower than advertised. UGREEN claims an iPhone 17 Pro Max can charge from 0% to 32% in 30 minutes, but tests showed a 20% to 80% charge took two and a half hours. Wired charging was faster, achieving the same 20% to 80% charge in 45 minutes.
Despite slower wireless speeds, the power bank did not overheat during testing, which is a safety advantage over some competitors. The built-in cable and ability to charge multiple devices make it a versatile option for travel.
Comparison and Verdict
Compared to the Anker Nano Power Bank, which is cheaper but chunkier, the UGREEN offers a slimmer design and Qi2 wireless charging. Apple's official MagSafe battery pack is only compatible with the iPhone Air, limiting its versatility.
According to Henry Burrell, Deputy Technology Editor, “I’d much rather have the safe charging of the UGREEN with the versatility of the built-in cable and up to three devices charging at once.” The power bank is not powerful enough to charge a laptop but is suitable for smartphones, earbuds, and tablets.
