Trello Suffers Major Outage Affecting Hundreds of UK Users

Hundreds of users in the UK reported issues with the popular workflow tool Trello on Monday morning, with many unable to access their boards. The outage, which began shortly after 6am, saw a spike in complaints on Downdetector.com, with 82% of reports citing problems with the website and 18% with the app.

Users were met with an error message stating: “We're having trouble loading this board. Check your connection and try refreshing the page.” Social media was flooded with frustrated posts from users in the UK, Japan, Taiwan, France, and Spain, with one French user writing: “Trello down, millions of teams in agony.”

Despite the widespread reports, Atlassian, the software company that runs Trello, reported the system as “operational” on its status page, stating: “No downtime recorded on this day.” The issue appeared to resolve later in the morning, with no further problems reported on Downdetector.
