Chris Evans Cuts Hollywood Mansion Price by £500K

Chris Evans has slashed the asking price of his Hollywood Hills mansion by nearly £500,000 after failing to attract a buyer at its original listing. The Captain America star's property, originally listed at £5.52 million, is now back on the market for £5.05 million, according to estate agent Scott Moore of Christie's International Real Estate Southern California.

Property Details and Features

The 4,599-square-foot home, which Evans used as a personal training base while preparing for his role as Captain America, boasts four bedrooms and six bathrooms. Estate agents describe the property as offering “absolute privacy” and a sense of “calm energy,” with a spa-style principal suite and separate guest accommodation. The chef's kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, and open-plan living areas flow onto terraces overlooking Los Angeles.

Outdoor amenities include a swimming pool, spa, and multiple areas designed for relaxation and entertaining. Agents said “the property combines luxury living with a secluded hillside setting, offering a rare sense of serenity” just minutes from the heart of the city.

Relocation and Family Life

Evans purchased the home in 2013 but is now planning to relocate from California to the East Coast with his wife, Portuguese actress Alba Baptista, and their daughter. The couple married in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in 2023, and their daughter was born last year. In April, Baptista told Entertainment Tonight that Evans is “absolutely the best support guide” and “has the best advice.”
