Adam Thomas, the Waterloo Road star who found himself at the centre of a bullying controversy on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, is reportedly planning his next career move, shifting focus away from reality television and towards business ventures. The 37-year-old former Emmerdale actor was involved in a heated altercation with boxer David Haye and later clashed with Jimmy Bullard during the live final of the show last month.
The Aftermath of the Jungle
Thomas, who has been open about his battle with arthritis, described the condition as an autoimmune disease that causes significant pain. During the show, Haye allegedly pressured him to participate in a trial, seemingly unaware of the actor's health struggles. Later, Bullard walked out of a trial when paired with Thomas, jeopardising the soap star's place until producers allowed him to stay. Thomas went on to win the competition, but the experience took a mental toll.
A source revealed: "Adam reached the lowest of lows over what happened in the jungle. He's a long way away from ever wanting to put himself back into the reality TV circus again, but he's got his confidence back and he's looking forward to future projects." The insider added that Thomas underwent therapy to recover mentally from the ordeal.
Focus on Business
Thomas, whose brother Ryan Thomas is a former Coronation Street star and twin Scott is an ex-Love Islander, is now channelling his energy into his hot sauce company, Oh My Glaze. The brand, which he relaunched recently, is part of a broader business portfolio that includes the restaurant The Spinn. The restaurant venture, launched in 2020, unfortunately ended in voluntary liquidation with debts of nearly £300,000, costing Thomas a personal investment of roughly £55,000. However, Oh My Glaze continues to operate through the active entity Oh My Glaze The Sauce Limited as of April 2026.
Announcing the comeback on social media, Thomas said: "Just three friends trying to take over the sauce market, one sauce at a time. What started as a simple idea has turned into something way bigger than we ever imagined, and honestly, we're only just getting started. Years of hard work, late nights, setbacks, lessons, and belief in what we're building… and now it's finally all starting to come together." He emphasised that the sauces are made with real ingredients, avoiding ultra-processed rubbish.
Other Ventures and Financial Background
In addition to his food businesses, Thomas has pursued a career in property, working as an executive with Kamani Property Group, helmed by billionaire Adam Kamani. He previously stated that he had "made a fortune" in the property sector during breaks from acting. He also jointly owns A&C Thomas Entertainment with his wife Caroline, through which he manages his professional income. The company has shown robust financial performance, with Thomas and Caroline as the sole employees, taking earnings via salaries and dividends.
While exact earnings from Oh My Glaze are not publicly disclosed, the brand remains a key part of Thomas's portfolio after surviving the collapse of his hospitality group. The actor's next move signals a clear departure from reality TV, focusing instead on building his business empire.
