A Vinted seller has shared how she caught a scammer attempting to defraud her over a designer handbag. Larz, who posts on TikTok as @larzldn.x, listed a brand new Coach bag for £150, despite its retail price being close to £400.
After receiving low offers, she held out for her asking price. When a buyer with mixed reviews purchased the bag, Larz sent a video showing the bag inside the parcel as proof. The buyer claimed the parcel arrived empty, but when asked for a photo, she inadvertently included the bag in the background.
Larz said: 'I was like, babe, the bag's in the back, why are you trying to lie?' The buyer replied: 'Oh, that's where my man put it, ha ha ha ha. I didn't know.' Larz ultimately received her payment and no further issues arose.
