Tesco has brought back changing rooms in its F&F clothing sections as part of a trial across a small number of stores, sparking celebrations among shoppers. The return comes after years of closure following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Instagram user Ellena (@Ellena.girliemum) filmed the return of fitting rooms, telling followers: "I've got a big update in Tesco F&F, let me show you what everyone has been waiting for, it is amazing." The video went viral as delighted customers shared their relief at no longer having to buy multiple sizes and return unwanted items. One shopper commented: "This is good news! My daughter would cringe when I was trying jeans on over my leggings in the aisles."
Trial Details
Tesco confirmed it is trialling the return of changing rooms in a small number of stores. The fitting rooms were closed during the Covid-19 pandemic due to safety concerns and low usage. The supermarket said it is listening to customer feedback from the trial to improve future in-store services. Customers are still able to return F&F clothing within 30 days.
