In a significant blow to the UK's hospitality sector, The Revel Collective has collapsed into administration, resulting in the immediate closure of 21 venues and the loss of 591 jobs. Administrators confirmed the stark figures, highlighting the precarious state of parts of the group's operations.
Administrators Confirm Widespread Closures
The administrators overseeing the process have detailed that the closures encompass 14 Revolution Bars venues, six Revolucion de Cuba sites, and one pub operating under the Peach Pubs division. These specific locations were not included in a recent sale of the group's brands and assets, which did manage to secure the future of 41 other sites and protect 1,582 jobs within the collective.
