Marks & Spencer has introduced a new bakery item that is causing a stir among shoppers. The latest addition to the Chunked N’ Loaded family is a Custard Cream Cookie, available now in M&S Foodhalls.
According to M&S, the cookie features a golden, buttery base enriched with cream powder for a rich custard flavour, studded with chunks of the classic M&S Custard Cream biscuit, and finished with a drizzle of white chocolate. The supermarket described it as “luxury snacking at its best.”
This is not the first time M&S has capitalised on the custard cream trend; at Easter, they released a giant custard cream biscuit-shaped egg that went viral. The new cookie has already garnered excitement online, with shoppers declaring they “need” to try it.
One foodie commented on Instagram: “Didn’t even know these were launching and happily stumbled upon them today. I had to get one, and it didn’t disappoint. 100% recommend.” Another urged M&S to “triple coat in chocolate” to add to the outrageously chocolatey range. The cookie is available in-store at M&S bakeries now.
