A glitch on Meghan Markle's As Ever website has inadvertently revealed the sales figures for her lifestyle brand, showing that nearly a million jars of jam have been sold since its launch in March 2025. The error, which has since been fixed, allowed users to see remaining stock by adding large quantities to their baskets.
Speaking to Newsweek, a source close to the duchess said the brand had "exceeded everybody's expectations", particularly over the Christmas period. The source dismissed claims that the figures indicated struggling sales, noting that the stock shown was only a portion of what had been ordered.
Another industry source told The Sun that one million jars were ordered for the jam product, with only 130,000 left, meaning 87 per cent had sold. The source described the business as "flying off the shelf".
Following the glitch, the As Ever site introduced purchase limits, restricting customers to 50 spread gift boxes or 20 bottles of wine per transaction. Meghan is reportedly planning to introduce new products and expand the brand internationally.
The duchess previously spoke to Bloomberg's The Circuit in August about the challenges of stock planning, describing sell-outs as a "double-edged sword". She said the brand had increased inventory tenfold for a subsequent drop, only for it to sell out within hours.
