Lidl is set to introduce its first-ever 'Mystery Boxes', launching at 10am on Thursday, August 15. Each box, valued at over £100, will be available to just 1,000 customers for £20 each, with proceeds supporting the NSPCC.
The boxes contain a random selection of items from Lidl's popular 'Middle of Lidl' range, which includes homewares, clothing, and pet products. Shoppers could find anything from a coffee machine to a ukulele, a massage gun, or a crochet kit.
To add to the excitement, 50 boxes will include a 'Bonus Item Coupon' for high-value items such as a Grillmeister Gas Barbeque or an Inflatable Stand-Up Paddle Board, worth up to £199.
The initiative taps into the #MysteryBoxes trend, which has generated 175.9 million posts on social media. Interested customers must visit www.lidlmysterybox.co.uk at the launch time to secure a box.
