A woman has shared her surprise after purchasing a £9.95 mystery bag from a Haribo store, revealing the contents in an Instagram video. Becky Chorlton, known online as 'beckysbazaar', wanted to test whether the sweet-filled mystery bag was worth the cost.
At the start of her video, she declared: 'Is the Haribo £10 mystery bag a scam? Let's buy it and find out.' She explained that each bag, costing £9.95, guarantees 1.2kg of sweets plus a special surprise, regardless of which bag is chosen.
After paying and receiving a free sample, she returned to her car to examine her haul. The bag contained eight full-sized packets of sweets, including Haribo Nostalgix, Starmix, Tangfastics, Balla stixx, Strawberry Softies, and Cola Bottles, along with three mini bags and a red Haribo mug adorned with love hearts.
Becky admitted she was unsure about the value, as she did not know the price of individual bags. However, viewers were quick to comment, with one saying: 'The mugs so cute! So many sweets too! Definitely worth it xxx.' Another exclaimed: 'Wow. That's really good. Value and content.'
A different user issued a warning: 'Just check they are in date love! I've seen out of date ones before.' Despite this, the overall reaction was one of amazement at the selection for the price.
