I Tried Glasgow's Viral Lost Parcel Pop-Up and Got a Bag of Wrench Bits
Glasgow Lost Parcel Pop-Up: I Got Wrench Bits

A new treasure hunt experience has hit Glasgow, but the results are mixed. King Colis' Lost Packages Pop-Up is running at St. Enoch's from June 15 to 21, offering shoppers the chance to rummage through 10 tonnes of lost parcels for a bargain price. I decided to try my luck and see if it's worth the hype.

The Experience

Located opposite Boots, the pop-up was easy to find thanks to signs and a queue. I arrived at 4pm and found many people still searching through crates, indicating its popularity. After joining the queue, I filled in my details via a QR code for free entry, which took seconds. Shoppers get ten minutes to browse before paying for their selections.

The crates were intimidating at first, but I quickly focused on investigating each parcel. Packages are sold by weight at £2.50 per 100g, so I targeted smaller items to keep costs low. I selected two parcels costing £7.25, but couldn't open them until I got home.

What I Got

Inside my parcels: an iPhone 13 phone case, two WiFi cameras (one broken), and a bag of wrench bits. The wrench bits made me laugh—truly random. I probably wouldn't do it again, but I could have ended up with worse. If you want to gamble, the event runs until Sunday.
