Most Aldi stores in England and Wales will be open from 8am until 8pm, though operating hours can vary by location. Many Asda stores in Liverpool will open between 8am and 10pm on the bank holiday, while Asda Express locations generally remain open 24 hours or until their usual late-night closing time.
Lidl stores outside the M25 and in Wales will be open between 8am and 10pm on Monday, while London and Scottish stores will be open as normal. Shoppers are encouraged to check everything online before venturing out.
M&S and Morrisons
Some M&S stores will see reduced hours on Monday, and customers can see opening times for local stores on the store locator page on the Marks and Spencer website. On bank holiday Monday, the majority of large Morrisons supermarkets in England and Wales will open from 7am to 8pm, but it added may close earlier than normal, depending on where you live. There will be no change for smaller Morrisons Daily convenience stores.
Sainsbury's and Tesco
Sainsbury's supermarkets will be open as usual during their typical opening hours from 7am to 8pm, which shoppers can check online. Tesco said opening hours on bank holiday Monday will vary by location, with shoppers advised to check their local store opening times on the store locator. The majority of large stores and large Express stores across England and Wales will be open from 8am to 6pm, while the majority of Isle of Man stores will be open between 7am and 10pm.
For those going to Scotland for the weekend, large Express stores there will be open from 7am to 10pm. The majority of large stores and large Express stores in Northern Ireland will be open for their normal hours. Smaller Tesco Express stores generally maintain normal or near-normal hours.
