Aldi's Quirky Christmas Baubles Set to Return
British supermarket giant Aldi has announced the return of its highly anticipated quirky Christmas baubles collection, set to hit stores later this month. The discount retailer, however, has issued a stark warning to festive shoppers, urging them to act quickly if they hope to secure these unique decorations.
What's in the Unusual Collection?
Priced at an affordable £3.99 for a two-pack, the baubles offer a playful twist on traditional Christmas tree decorations. The collection draws direct inspiration from Aldi's famous middle aisle of random finds, featuring designs modelled after an air fryer, a hair dryer, and various DIY tools.
Additional designs in the range include a football, a retro robot, a classic camera, a toy car, a roller skate, and a vintage boombox. This eclectic mix is designed to bring a touch of personality and nostalgia to Christmas trees across the UK.
High Demand and Limited Availability
The decision to bring back the baubles follows what Aldi describes as 'unprecedented demand' for last year's limited-edition collection. In 2024, the decorations were only available through a competition that attracted thousands of entries, making them highly sought-after.
An Aldi spokesperson commented on the launch, stating: 'Perfect for gifting, Secret Santas, or giving trees a cheeky personality boost, these decorations bring joy to every branch – and every budget.' The supermarket anticipates the baubles will 'fly off the shelves' and has explicitly warned that shoppers shouldn't hang about because once they're gone, they're gone.'
The baubles are scheduled to be available in Aldi stores across the UK from 30th October.
Aldi is also expanding its festive food range, adding a new 'hazelnut cracker' dessert for £7.99. Described as a 'showstopper', this Specially Selected product features a gold-dusted Belgian chocolate shell with a caramel sauce, digestive biscuit balls, mini marshmallows, and a hazelnut and Belgian milk chocolate ganache centre. It is available in stores now and will remain until Christmas.
