Aldi's Festive Giveaway: 24 Shoppers Could Have Christmas Groceries Paid For
Aldi offers to pay for Christmas food shop in daily draw

Aldi is spreading some extra festive cheer this December by offering to cover the cost of the weekly shop for two dozen lucky customers. The budget supermarket's giveaway aims to ease the financial pressure many families face during the expensive Christmas period.

How To Enter Aldi's Daily Christmas Draw

The promotion is straightforward for shoppers to enter. From Monday, December 1, until Christmas Eve on December 24, customers who buy their festive groceries at Aldi can take part. To enter the daily prize draw, you simply need to email your full name, county of residence, and a copy of your receipt to aldidoesadvent@aldi.co.uk.

One winner will be randomly selected each day. The prize is an Aldi voucher to cover the value of that shop, with a generous cap of £100. If your receipt totals more than £100, the voucher value will still be limited to the maximum £100 amount.

Winners must act quickly to claim their prize, as they have just one week to respond to the notification from Aldi. Failure to do so will mean the prize is forfeited and may be re-awarded to another entrant.

Aldi's Commitment to an Affordable Christmas

This festive giveaway is part of Aldi's broader promise to help customers enjoy Christmas without breaking the bank. Rachel Geary, Aldi's communications director, explained the thinking behind the promotion. "Christmas can be an expensive time of year, and we know how important it is for families to feel they’re getting great value from their festive shop," she said.

"Alongside our commitment to offering the very best quality at the lowest prices, this giveaway is just one of the ways we’re giving something extra back to our customers - helping make the season a little easier and bringing a touch of joy in the lead-up to the big day."

The supermarket's CEO for the UK and Ireland, Giles Hurley, has also reiterated Aldi's pledge to provide the cheapest Christmas dinner in 2025. He stated that the discount is the company's own commitment, taken at its own cost, and does not affect the fair prices paid to its suppliers.

Festive Food and Gift Ideas at Aldi

While shoppers enter the draw, they can also explore Aldi's range of seasonal products. This year's lineup includes returning favourites and new additions designed to impress.

For a show-stopping dessert, there's the Specially Selected Hazel Nut-Cracker Dessert, featuring gold-dusted Belgian chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel. Cheese lovers might opt for the Specially Selected Wensleydale Ballycastle with White Chocolate & Caramel.

For the main Christmas meal, Aldi is introducing the Specially Selected Ultimate Slow Cooked Wagyu Shin alongside the returning Specially Selected Ultimate British Free-Range Whole Turkey.

Shoppers looking for last-minute gifts shouldn't forget Aldi's famous middle aisle. From December 4, a selection of toys, games, and other festive Special Buys will be available in the centre of stores, offering potential solutions for those tricky-to-buy-for relatives.

With the chance to win back the cost of your shop and a strong focus on affordable quality, Aldi is positioning itself as a key destination for households wanting to manage their Christmas budgets wisely this year.
